Last night my mom and I went to a Plant Nite. We greatly enjoyed it and would recommend it.

When we got there we had to pick what we wanted to plant our plants in. We could pick between rectangular wooden boxes, square wooden boxes, a square glass container or a circular glass container.

I chose this rectangular box and my mom chose a white rectangular box.

After choosing what we wanted, we first had to put rocks in the bottom so that when we watered our plants the plants wouldn’t drown from the water just sitting around the roots. Then we filled it with dirt.

The lady then brought a tray of 18 succulents to our table that 6 of us could chose from. We rolled a dice and the person who rolled the highest number picked first and then we went around in a circle 3 times and picked our plants. Here are the plants I picked.

We then had a short break and my mom volunteered us for a game.

There were two teams. You had to stack two cups on each hand and then on your head and then take them off and whoever was the fastest won. We won. Our prize was a croaking frog.

After the short break we could put our plants in the dirt. We could put them in however we wanted.

We then could decorate. Here are are our plants.

After the previous picture my mom decided she wasnt finished decorating so here are both final products.
